Gators Hit 17 Three's in 93-57 Victory Over Spokane in NWAC Men's Basketball Sweet 16

PASCO, Wash. – The Green River Gators knocked down 17 three pointers on their way to a dominant 93-57 victory over the Spokane Sasquatch on Wednesday in the Sweet 16 of the NWAC Men's Basketball Championship presented by Golf Universe.

The West Region No. 2 seeded Gators (24-6) shot lights out overall, making 54.1 percent of their field goals and 48.6% on three pointers. Nine different players made a three pointer for Green River, led by Tyler Burraston's four. Burraston was also one of five Gators to score in double digits, paced by Clayton Whitman and Jaiden Feroah each with 16. Kameron Bender had 15 while Burraston had 14 and Peyton Nordland had 12.

The Gators not only shot well, but they also played great defense throughout, limiting Spokane to 29.2 percent from the floor.

The Sasquatch (16-14) were led by 14 points from both Nate Visentin and Zach Reighard. Vesentin also added seven rebounds.

The Gators move onto the Elite 8 round and will play North Region champion Edmonds on Thursday at 4 p.m. at Holden Court.
