Six Earn AVCA All-American Honors, Frazier Region Coach of the Year

VANCOUVER, Wash. - The AVCA announced the 2023 All-America teams for Two-Year College women's volleyball, as chosen by the Two-Year College Volleyball All-America Selection Committee. The NWAC had six total All-Americans and the West Region Coach of the Year, Linn-Benton head coach Jayme Frazier.

In total, 45 players from 39 schools made the three, 15-member All-America teams for the 2023 season. The players chosen represent all sections of Two-Year College women's volleyball: NJCAA Division I, II, and III, the CCCAA, and the NWAC.

Selected to the first team were Linn-Benton's Grace Boeder and North Idaho's Abigail Beaton. On the second team was Highline's Madison Mamizuka and Pierce's Abby Draghici. Making the third team was Bellevue's Tommi Gallucci and Lower Columbia's Kate Johnson.

Frazier and Boeder helped lead Linn-Benton to the program's third-straight NWAC Championship, finishing with a perfect 36-0 record. Frazier was selected NWAC Coach of the Year while Boeder was the Baden Player of the Year for volleyball.

Beaton led North Idaho to its best finish as members of the NWAC, taking second place overall. The team's only two losses came to Linn-Benton. Beaton was a driving force for the Cardinals all season as she finished, fifth in the NWAC in hitting percentage at .313, 19th overall with 69 blocks and 25th in total kills with 256.
