Tallulah Baumgart, Women's Soccer Defensive - Bellevue
Sophomore • Midfielder
Garfield HS • Seattle, WA
Baumgart led the Bulldogs to a big 8-0 victory over Everett, scoring two goals with an assist while helping limit the Trojans to just two shots and one on goal from the defensive midfield. Her first goal in the fourth minute proved to be the game-winner for Bellevue.
"Tallulah (TJ) is a complete player who moves around the field wherever we need her," said head coach Richard Romain-Dika. "This year, she has taken on a defensive role that we needed to fill as a defensive midfielder. She leads the team with her dedication and commitment to the craft. Throughout a game, TJ covers over 7 miles of distance against Everett. She intercepted over 30 balls a game. While holding down our defense from the midfield she also scored two goals versus Everett, with the first goal off a volley with her right foot and the second ball with her left foot."
