Destiny Labuanan had a season-high 26 digs in Highline's 3-1 victory over Tacoma on October 9. The Thunderbirds' libero was called "a major reason" behind the team's victory by head coach Christ Littleman, who also cited her ability to put balls in good positions for setters to effectively do their job. Highline remains undefeated in West Region play after this most recent victory, and they will face South Puget Sound and Pierce College this week.
