Kness helped Rogue win a pair of road matches at Chemeketa and Clackamas, dropping just one set between the two contests. Kness was strong in the back row, recording 46 total digs to average 6.57 per set. She had 20 or more digs in both matches and a reception percentage of .975. 

"Emma was the foundation for our defense this week," said head coach Christine Nelson. "She did a great job of reading the hitters and making plays."
