Chase Degraffenried, Green River - Men's Basketball

Degraffenried was instrumental in Green River going 4-0 on the week, averaging 24.5 points per game, 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.8 steals. The freshman guarded averaged 34 minutes per game, shooting 67.9 percent from the floor and 58.6 percent from behind the arc. He had two 30 points games with 31 in a 116-77 win over Lilac City Legends and 32 more points vs Northwest Indian College. Perhaps most importantly, he hit a buzzer beater to defeat Wenatchee Valley 71-69 in the team's final game of the week.

"Chase was a monster this week," said head coach Godfrey Drake. "Every team we played went after him. Yet he still had two 30-point games and was extremely efficient.  Not to mention hitting a game winner at the buzzer at Wenatchee. He did all of this in 4 games this week. The efficiency on such high point totals while still playing great defense was elite."
