Chase Degraffenried, Men's Basketball - Green River

Degraffenried dropped 31 points with six rebounds and three assists in an 80-77 win over Tacoma in a rematch of the 2024 NWAC Men's Basketball finals. The freshman shot 11-for-19 from the floor and 6-for-11 on three pointers to lead the Gators to the win. He followed up with 14 points and eight rebounds in a more defensively played 65-52 win at Pierce. He averaged 38.5 minutes per game in the two road wins with just three total turnovers.

"Chase had an epic 31 point and six rebound performance versus Tacoma while being face guarded the whole game," said head coach Godfrey Drake. "He made big shots in all the big moments. He followed it up with 14 points and eight big rebounds after he was guarded the same way as he has been the last few games while playing great defense as well."
