In her first college heptathlon, Wood finished with PRs in four out of her seven events at the Buc Scoring Invite. She currently ranks first in the NWAC in the event with 3,477 points. She was also part of the women's 4x100 meter relay that took second place and currently ranks first in the NWAC with a previous time of 49.37 seconds.
