Groat has had a couple strong weeks of play for the Chukars, playing as either their No. 4 or No. 5 competitor. In a league match against Spokae, Groat swept his opponent in singles while teaming with Jared Hally to win in doubles. Earlier in the week, he won his singles match against Boise State Tennis Club by an 8-0 score. In doubles, he and Hally once again won by an 8-2 score.
