Northern Region announces 2019-20 Sportsmanship Team Award Winners

The Student-Athlete Sportsmanship Awards recognize student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. In conforming to the philosophy of the NWAC, the characteristics of Community, Character and Competition will be considered in the selection process. This is the first year the North Region has made region Sportsmanship selections.

North Region Sportsmanship Award Winners

Bellevue:  Tori McDowell (Softball) and Chase Fisk (Men's Golf)

Douglas:  Lindsay Shaw (Softball) and Kian Johnson (Baseball)

Edmonds:  Casey Gonzales (Women's Soccer) and Chihiro Ichimura (Men's Soccer)

Everett:  Morgan Marshall (Women's Basketball) and Daniel Amador (Men's Soccer)

Olympic:  Lily Campbell (Track & Field) and Kennedy Ochiengll, (Cross Country/Track & Field)

Peninsula:  Chloe Keenan-Merlo (soccer) and Matthew Wilkinson (soccer)

Shoreline:  Kammi Perkins (Volleyball) and Anjaylo Lloyd (Men's Basketball)

Skagit Valley:   Samantha 'Sam' Cox (Women's Basketball) and Edgar Ramirez (Men's Soccer) 

Whatcom:  Peyton Schwinger (Women's Soccer) and Kenny Savo (Men's Basketball)
