Lower Columbia College’s Food for Thought food pantry works to reduce hunger within the campus community and to reduce the effects of food insecurity on student success. We ask all NWAC Championship tournament players and coaches to bring 2-5 non-perishable food items to be donated to the food pantry. If every player and coach brings at least two items that means nearly 500 items can be donated. If each team gets out and asks family members and fans to participate, we could easily reach a goal of 1,000 items to fight hunger. For a detailed list of items, visit the website. |
