Event 5K Mark: 17:59.6 at Charles Bowles Invitational
Jolene was the individual champion, leading most of the race as well. It was a 29 second 5k PR as well (She also won in week 1).

Said Spokane head coach Sean McLachlan, “Jolene continued her fantastic sophomore campaign as she won her second race of the season at the Willamette Invite, this time with a 46 second PR, running 17:59 and breaking 18 minutes for the first time and in the process became the first women from Spokane to win at Willamette.  This time also moves her up to #6 all time on our school record list!  Jolene is a very hard worker, great student and is really starting to believe in her abilities.”
