Hitchcock won the NWAC Northwest Region Championship race with a time of 27:39. He defeated Whatcom's Ahmed Wariyo by 20 seconds to run away with the title. By doing so, he also led Green River to the team title, besting Edmonds and Olympic with four of the top-five scorers. He will next compete at the NWAC Championships on Nov. 12.
