Mendez was lights out for the Roadrunners on the mound throwing a 1-hitter against SW Oregon in a 1-0 victory. Needing every bit of his dominance to pick up the win, Mendez only allowed one baserunner as he struck out 12 batters without allowing a walk. The only hit came to lead off the fifth inning as Mendez needed only 104 pitches for his dominant outing, leading LBCC to the four-game sweep.
