Peyton Nordland, Men's Basketball - Green River

Nordland had an outstanding three games at the Clackamas Holiday Tournament as he was named tournament MVP for leading Green River to three wins. Nordland averaged 27.7 points, 5.7 assists and 3.7 rebounds in the three victories. Overall, he shot an impressive 69.6 percent from the floor, 63.3 percent from beyond the arc and 85.7 percent from the free-throw line. He had 35 points in a 90-76 win over Walla Walla, 18 points in a 86-78 victory vs Clackamas and finished off with 30 points and eight assists in an 89-79 win against Linn-Benton.

"Peyton was named the tournament MVP of the Clackamas Holiday Tournament and had a ton of 4 year coaches asking about him because of his 3 days of dominance," said head coach Godfrey Drake. "He also just finished the fall quarter with a 3.7 GPA and is a team captain."
