CBC names Quinton Parnell Head Men's & Women's Golf Coach

PASCO, Wash. - Quinton Parnell will take over the reins in both Men's and Women's Golf as the newest head coach. Parnell played for CBC back in 2015 under former head coach Dan Clifford. After his time at CBC, Parnell went on to begin a career in teaching after earning his PGA card in 2018.

After a Women's championship run in 2019, both the CBC Men and Women came up short in 2022 with neither placing in the final four. Parnell hopes to hit the ground running to get back to a championship level. "Being the new golf coach for CBC fills me with pride and passion. I feel with the vast amount of resources and relationships that I have been so fortunate to have built, I can help each athlete find and use all the opportunities available to reach and achieve their goals." said Parnell.

Since 2018, Parnell has worked primarily out of the Walla Walla area under the Golf Academy of Washington. He has taught and mentored many current D1,2 and D3 golfers at the collegiate level. "Standards, drive and passion will be the components that I plan to implement into this program to operate under day in and day out. With the resources at Canyon Lakes Golf Course, the Golf Academy of Washington and CBC, each athlete will have an abundance of support to help them build their grades, grow as a person and grow in the game of golf." Parnell said.

In 2021, Parnell moved back to the Tri-Cities area and is currently one of the PGA pros at Canyon Lakes Golf Course in Kennewick. CBC will begin competition in Septemeber during the Fall season before returning in the Spring to try and get back in championship form.
