NWAC Executive Board Announces 2022-25 Championship Sites
VANCOUVER, Wash. - The Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) office is proud to announce that the Executive Board has finalized the NWAC 2022-2025 Championship Tournament Sites for nine of its ten championship tournaments. Last week the NWAC Executive Board entertained proposals from multiple organizations each soliciting to hold an NWAC Championship Event for the next three years beginning in Fall 2022.
According to NWAC Executive Board Chair, Greg Sheley, "The NWAC Championships are in great hands over the next few years. Each event will showcase the talents of our great student athletes as they compete for team and individual titles. It was exciting to see a competitive bid process which resulted in outstanding community collaboration for each championship event. We look forward to increasing the visibility of the NWAC brand."
NWAC Executive Director Marco Azurdia stated, "The bids that were presented were high quality bids that included partnerships with community organizations which strengthens the events. The Executive Board had great conversations about the bids presented and I believe made very difficult but wise choices. We look forward to returning to familiar sites as well as looking forward to developing future partnerships.
