Event: 6k run; Mark: 18:50.3 at the WOU Ask Creek Festival

“Abdi has proven to be a standup athlete in more ways than one,” said Clackamas head coach Michelle Rose. “During his first race as a collegiate runner, he ran a 12 second 5k PR during the 6k race to place 15th overall. Upon finishing he waited in the chute to cheer on his teammates until everyone had finished. We are very proud of his efforts in the few short weeks of the season thus far.”
