Bellevue College appoints Jennifer Weller as new Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach

BELLEVUE, WA – Bellevue College has hired Jennifer Weller as the new men's and women's tennis head coach

Weller is a USPTA Professional in Junior, Adult & Excellence Programs. She grew up playing tennis in the Pacific Northwest and held Junior Champ rankings in both singles and doubles.

She graduated from Seattle University on a NAIA Division 1 tennis scholarship where she earned a national ranking in both singles and doubles.

Weller has been teaching tennis for 20 years, most recently teaching group and private lessons for kids and adult USTA teams at Nordstrom Tennis Center and Eastside Tennis Center. She also coached high school boys and girls tennis for several years at Issaquah and Hazen High schools.

Before coming to Bellevue College, Weller worked as a teaching pro at Edgebrook Tennis Club, where she formed and lead the Junior Team Tennis program and orange ball leagues. She has also taught at The Sammamish Club, Newport Hills, and the Plateau club.

Weller loves to help people build a life-long interest in tennis through her innovative coaching techniques and is excited to be part of the talented Bellevue College team.
