The NWAC continues to emphasize community service at all of our championship events. This year, the NWAC Softball Championship tournament will support: Bloomin' Boutique a local Portland-area non-profit organization dedicated to giving a hand up by providing new clothing, shoes, bedding and personal care items to underprivileged children, empowering them to become confident, constructive members of their communities. We ask that NWAC teams participating in the tournament donate school supplies (crayons, pens, pencils, markers, notebooks, highlighters, folders, etc.) and/or socks (all sizes needed infants, K-12). The suggestion is 2-3 items per player/coach on the team, with the goal of donating over 300 items! Fans attending the tournament can participate in this donation by bringing items to the ticket gate. |
