Clackamas Crossover MVP Ford is the catalyst for top-ranked Clackamas’ 9-0 start. This past week he averaged 26.3 points, 5.7 assists, 9.7 rebounds, 1.7 steals and a block per game. All this on a 57.1% shooting average and a pair of double-doubles. His highlight game was a 39 point scoring effort with 10 rebounds on 63.6% shooting against Walla Walla.
An extremely well rounded guard, he is 9th in scoring (21.7ppg), 2nd in assists (7.3 apg), 8th in rebounds (8.9 rbg) and 16th in steals (2.0 spg).
“Ford has continued filling up the stat sheet game in and game out leading CCC to three wins while being named MVP of the CCC Crossover Tournament,” said Cougar head coach Clif Wegner. “In the final game of the CCC Crossover against Walla Walla he recorded 39 points on 14/22 fg and 7/11 3fg, 10 rebounds, 9 assists (almost his second triple double of the season) and held WWCC’s leading scorer to 11 points below his average.”
