White tuned in a very impressive performance in Spokane’s first five games of the season. He averaged a league high 27.6 points per game to go with 9.0 rebounds per game (14th). Impressive numbers considering the field Spokane faced including powerhouses Everett (5-1) and Lower Columbia (5-1). White turned in a 38 point/11 rebound performance against Everett and 16 points/8 rebound game vs. LCC. His efforts led to him being named the Red Devil Classic Tournament MVP last weekend.
“Garrett had a great weekend at Lower Columbia College helping us win the Red Devil Classic with wins over Southwest Oregon, Everett, and Lower Columbia,” said Sasquatch head coach Jeremy Groth. “He had games of 25, 38, and 16 points while shooting 62% (33 for 53) from the field and 58% (7-12) from the 3 point line for the weekend while also averaging more than 9 rebounds per game. Garrett is an extremely hard worker on the court and in classroom and we are so happy for him to see all of his hard work pay off!”
